Set of three single page layout solutions. The topic of this page layout is determined by the image provided. Students develop headline and sub-head to communicate the content and some supporting graphic elements and by line as their name. This is an opportunity to explore the many ways of arranging different elements on a page to achieve effective communication. Students discover why controlled hierarchy is so paramount to the overall solidity and success of compositions through the use of strong internal structure and/or free form placement of elements. Each part has to use different color value and grid specified below.
Part 1: Single or Multi-Column Design

Part 3: Alternative Grid
vertical or horizontal, four-color layout created with type and image.
